Later, I channeled by inner Whoopi Goldberg. Mommy and I tried to reenact seeester act. "What did we sing?" "Nun yo' business!" Get it?!?! "Nun" of your business! Like none, but spelled Nun because I'm dressed like a nun! Funny like Daddy, vroom!

8/24/10 - Back to the Swaddle Bucklin' Days

I used to get out of a swaddle faster than people walk out of Ben Affleck movies, but lately I've rather enjoyed being wrapped up like a burrito chiquito. - Renzo

What?!?!?! You're telling me an 87-year-old Sylvester Stallone is getting the part of Rambo again in "Rambo: Second Blood?!??!?!?" Why did I get dressed up in this costume to play Rambo?!?! I went to brunch today and got a monkey balloon from the clown! Okay, it might have not been a clown, but don't we all have a little clown in us?!? - Lorenzo

8/21/10 - Fleas Market

I guess we went to the fleas market today ... oh oh, I mean the flea market, aka the swap meet, today. It was a really nice day, and we were able to get lots of food! I ate at a BBQ place ... well, I ate Mommy's milk at the seating area of a BBQ place, which is just as good. - Renzo

Chilling in the swing that my Grandma Emma got me, want her to get healthy real quick so I can play on her basketball court and eat her delicious food. I'm proud to be exposed to both my parents families, they're loving and strong people. - Lorenzo

8/17/10 - Skills

I don't need anybody to hold my paci when I'm not using it... I hold it using my chest muscles. I've got skills, I fall asleep with it in my mouth then place it on my chest while dream of dancing sheep. Mom and Dad didn't teach me this trick, all they do is leave drool on their respective chests.

P.S. Do I really have to get my teeth in? The parentals have some kicking breath in the morning.

8/16/10 - For Our Friend Pops

This is for our friend, Pops, whose sister Jenn Sundara passed away last night. Life is precious, cherish every moment you have. She is survived by a beautiful and bright young son, Gavin, and husband Moses. Our condolences go out to Pops’ family.

It was just this morning that I woke up from a dream about my Dad. I was taking Lorenzo to meet his Grandpa Jimmie... And there he was standing outside my Grandma Helen's with his bag that contained his important papers he always took with him before he became really ill. He was dressed as he always did at that time; casual, in some jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

As I walked Lorenzo to meet him for the first time, my legs gave way and I fell to my knees with Lorenzo in my arms ... looking at my Dad I realized he couldn't really be there waiting to meet his grandson and it wasn't possible for Lorenzo to meet the man who made me laugh all the time... I broke down crying... and my Dad disappeared back into the driveway.

I woke up immediately and had Lorenzo to my right. I caressed his head, told Aunika about my dream ... and went back to bed, but not before shedding two tears for my late Father.

My heart truly goes out to Jenn's family and Gavin... he's in good hands though, has an awesome Uncle in Pops and dad in Moses.

RIP Jenn.

8/15/10 - From FJC to LAX

Took a nice little drive today when we took the Ramirez grandparents to the airport. Also, got a chance to go to my first restaurant ... of course, I ate the Mommy breast milk omelette puree. Daddy wanted Mommy's potatoes but I told her to give them to the waitress, ha! He didn't need them any way, but it was amazing that she was able to translate "coo" which meant "don't give that heifer more food!"

Daddy's belly got the last laugh, they caught me while I was sleeping and walked me over to Tutti Frutti where they ate 5lb-frozen yogurts!

8/14/10 - More Cousins!

Today I met my other cousins, Balin and Arwen! They're Uncle Jimmie's and Aunt Hilary's kids and makes it official that we're the cutest Fantastic Four ever: Emma, Me, Balin and Arwen.

Arwen was scared of me at first, so when she finally held me I farted on her :) Pfffttttt, just like Daddy and Mommy taught me. - LJ

8/13/10 - Asleep at the Wheel!

Kidding, kidding! I can't drive yet, I get driven around! Mis Padres took me for a walk today... it's funny, Mom is trying to fatten me up... but Daddy is trying to slender down, maybe he should go on a walk by himself. Ha! I've seen him eat more junk than Lamar Odom at halftime. It's Friday, woot! (I don't know what that means yet, by I've heard people say that) - Lorenzo

8/11/10 - Excellent Swimmer

Mom and Dad know I spent 9 months swimming in fluids, but what they don't know is I got certified as a lifeguard while in the belly slammer. Here I am in the tee shirt they gave me when I passed ... taking a nap from checking out the baby chicks from the couch tower. - Lorenzo

8/10/10 - Why Dad?

I had to ask. I put on my jersey today but I had to know why the Angels were playing like they were this year... Dad explained, "You know Lorenzo, the Angels aren't going to win every year... but if you look at their pitching staff and the potential free agents out there next year, they'll be back in the playoffs a year from now. Plus, it'll mean me, you, and Mommy can go to a playoff game."

Works for me, as long as you don't make me go to a Dodgers game, Daddy! - Renzo

8/7/10 - Football!

I'm Daddy's new football buddy, and tomorrow is the NFL's first preseason game. Daddy and I don't like the Cowboys, so we'll be rooting for the Bengals. I'm also putting my Mummy pose picture up because Mummy likes it... get it, Mummy is my Mommy! I'm almost as funny as my Pops, boom! - LJ II

Moms was worried about the little red bumps on my face so I took a bath tonight... come to find out "baby acne" is very common and isn't due to a dirty face.
